Frequently Asked Questions
- Shipping of all orders $50 or over ship free anywhere in the US! Excluding oversized items.
- We ship worldwide!
- If you place multiple orders with free shipping, we may combine them.
- Free shipping will typically be USPS but we may utilize other carriers (UPS, FedEX, etc.) depending on order size and location.
- Estimated shipping times vary by location, but typically will arrive within 3-5 business days anywhere in the US.
- Oversized items due to their size, cannot be shipped free. See pricing for individual items at checkout.
- Our International rates are calculated via USPS by weight/size of box.

- Inter-Island 5’11” & Under Surfboard Shipping: $70
- Continental US 5’11” & Under Surfboard Shipping: $100
- Inter-Island 6’0″ & Over Surfboard Shipping: $200
- Continental US 6’0″ & Over Surfboard Shipping: $240
- Japan 7’2″ & Under Surfboard Shipping: $225 (Two boards $255)
- Japan 7’3″ & Over Surfboard Shipping: $295 (Two boards $535) Max 10′

Shipping for skimboards & bodyboards are subject to change but will not be shipped without approval from you with any price changes.
- Inter-Island Skimboard/Bodyboard Shipping up to 49″: $40.00
- Mainland Skimboard/Bodyboard Shipping up to 49″: $50.00
All boards (Surfboards, Skimboards, and Bodyboards) can be shipped internationally but will vary in cost depending on location and size of board. Please contact us before placing an order by phone (808) 947-7307 or by email [email protected] and we will get you the best shipping rate possible! Typically international orders for boards will be send by FedEX or DHL depending on size and location.
- Please allow 1 business day for processing and handling. Shipping days are Monday-Saturday. Orders cannot be shipped on Sundays or holidays.
- Tracking will always be provided when available. Some countries do not provide tracking numbers for international shipping, but we will always opt for the option with tracking if possible.
- Oversized items may take an additional 1-3 days to process.
- Although we do our best to stock all items shown on our site, occasionally we do run out. In this case, you will be notified within 1-2 business business days of placing your order.
Although damage when shipping a surfboard is rare, it does occur, therefore all surfboards are shipped fully insured for your security. Please be sure to inspect your package thoroughly BEFORE you sign for it. If damage to the package is obvious upon delivery be sure to make a note with the driver and if possible take multiple pictures of the box BEFORE you open it. If any damage does occur please immediately email us [email protected]
- Customer service is our number one goal. We are always here to assist in your buying purchases but understand the need to return or exchange items purchased online. If you are not completely satisfied with your products, you may return or exchange any purchase within 30 days of receipt.
- Items must be in new/unused condition, in original packaging with the original tags, receipt, all warranty cards, manuals and accessories. The manufacters original packaging that comes with your item and all accessories that may be part of the item must also be returned undamaged. This means if your item comes in a box (for instance a shoe box) you will need to ship it inside another box to keep it in new condition. Items not returned in new condition could be ineligible for return or subject to a restocking fee. Quality Surfboards Hawaii does not refund any shipping costs on returns unless the return was due to an error on our part.
- Please inspect all items upon arrival for errors or defects and contact us immediately if there is any loss or damage.
- If it is our error that is the cause for your return, we will reimburse your shipping costs to return your items.. (This is actual FedEx Ground, UPS Ground or USPS Priority freight and will not include any packaging, preparing, or mailroom costs.) We will not reimburse for any Expedited Shipping: (i.e.; Overnight, 2nd Day or Air Shipping etc.).
- Please allow approximately 3 business days for your return to be processed once it has arrived.
